Paul Michael "Mike" Kadow

Paul Michael Kadow "Mike", 75, of Zelienople, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 18, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Judy (née Reynolds), and much loved by his sons Nathanael and John, daughters-in-law Chantel and Kathleen, and grandchildren Jacoby and Zoe.
Mike was born on September 19, 1949, to the late John Henry Kadow and Ruth (née Kincaid) Kadow in Hawthorne, California.
After serving in the U.S. Army, Mike went on to become a computer programmer in database management. It was while he was in the military that he became a Christian and was guided in his faith through the ministry of The Navigators. Several years later, at the urging of a college friend, Judy travelled from Massachusetts to San Jose, California, to receive further discipling in her Christian faith through The Navigators. It was there that the two met and were married in 1976.
Mike's career as a database manager took the family from San Francisco to the Boston area, and eventually to Western Pennsylvania. While his career focused on technology, his numerous interests included playing jazz saxophone, music, history (especially WWII), science, science fiction, theology, motorcycles, and airplanes.
Mike was preceded in death by his half-sister, Sally, his adopted brother, John, and his brother Kenny.
A memorial service will take place on February 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Berean Presbyterian Church, 229 Dutch Ridge Road, Ellwood City, PA 16117. A private burial will follow at a later date.
