Paul G. Knight, 75, of Fishers, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at home in Fishers following a brief illness.
He was born on December 11, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana to Lloyd and Esther (Pierson) Knight. He was a 1967 graduate of Highland High School. He married Teresa Stohler on June 24, 1972.
He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson as a manufacturing engineer.
Paul was a member of Markleville North Christian Church. He enjoyed golfing and pickleball. One of his greatest joys was coaching his children in various sports and cheering them on, along with his grandchildren, at their sporting events and activities.
Paul's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He had a great love for cars, cooking, and was a talented handyman. He regularly did DIY projects at home and for others. He also loved to travel with his family on vacations.
Paul is survived by his wife, Teresa (Stohler) Knight; three children, Tiffany (husband, Patrick) Hall of Westfield, Craig Knight of Zionsville and Amber (husband, Steve) Shrader of Tampa, Florida; seven grandchildren, Taylor Hall, Lexi Hall, Nolan Hall, Harrison Knight, Pierson Knight, Spencer Shrader and Sophie Shrader; a brother, Don (wife, Jill) Knight; two sisters, Phyllis (husband, Larry) Evans and Karen (husband, Garry) Quattroch; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best friends, Kyle and Nancy Sandefur, Bruce and Jeri VanDyne, Jim and Chris Dietrick and Woody and Stephanie Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Paul G. Knight will be remembered as an inspirational leader to his family, a beloved friend to many, and a man who lived his life with integrity, kindness, and a deep love for those around him. His legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories will continue to inspire and guide his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Markleville North Christian Church, 32 North State Street, Markleville, Indiana 46056 with Rev. John Hackney officiating. Cremation will take place.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, at the church.
