Paul Lee LaBarge, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on October 11, 2025, at MediLodge of Alpena, Michigan. Born on August 17, 1956, in Alpena to the late James and Shirley (Ellery) LaBarge, Paul lived a life filled with kindness, compassion, and a dedication to those he loved.
A proud graduate of Alpena High School, Class of 1974, Paul furthered his education by obtaining his CPA from Lake Superior State University. He devoted many years to Roger City Industries, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2018. His colleagues knew him as a dependable and hardworking individual who brought a sense of camaraderie to the workplace.
Outside of his professional life, Paul was a true sports enthusiast, passionately supporting the Detroit Lions throughout his life. An avid deer hunter, he relished the beauty of nature through various outdoor activities, including snowmobiling, four-wheeling, and fishing. These hobbies enriched his life and nurtured cherished memories with family and friends.
Paul will be remembered not only for his engaging personality but also for his close bonds with family. He is survived by his siblings, Joan (Dave) Dumeah, Jim LaBarge, Dave LaBarge, Pat (Terry) LaBarge, along with his nephew, Anthony LaBarge, his niece, Sara (Chad) Lane, Special Friend Debra Paterra, and many close friends who will miss his presence dearly.
The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects during visitation on October 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, all taking place at A.E. Ross Funeral Home..
Paul Lee Labarge's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was a gentle soul whose spirit touched many, and his legacy of love and compassion will remain with us always.
