Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 02, 2026, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Paul T. LaBorde, 78, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at Courtyard Manor Nurse Care Center & Assisted Living.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
Pastor Jason Tippy will officiate at the funeral service. Burial will be at Saratoga Cemetery in Saratoga, Wyoming at a later date.
He was born on May 9, 1947, in Pasadena, Texas, and spent the majority of his life in Wyoming, where he developed a profound love for the outdoors.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman, cherished for his passion for hunting and horseback riding. He held dear the company of family and friends, and his beloved cat, Tommy, was a constant source of comfort and joy in his life. Paul's life was a testament to the joy found in nature and family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his three children, Rachael LaBorde Maassen (Paul), Rhonda LaBorde (Cory Darby) and James Paul LaBorde (Melissa); grandchildren, Trenton Powell (Justine), Garrett Powell, Adelle Puma (Cody), Wade Landerno (Korey Thibodeaux), Joe LaBorde, Lane LaBorde and Ellie LaBorde; and great grandchildren, Molly, Stella, Lenny, Clay and Emilie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Garvis and Johnnie LaBorde; wife, Carolyn Lynn Pinder LaBorde; and brothers, Philippe LaBorde and Layne LaBorde.
Honorary pallbearers will be Trenton Powell, Garrett Powell, Wade Landerno, Joe LaBorde, Lane LaBorde, Cody Puma, Wyatt Darby, Noah Darby, Anthony LaBorde, and Jon LaBorde.
