Paul Arnold Land

Paul Arnold Land, of Texas, passed away surrounded by family on October 28, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, in 1955 to parents Manuel and Barbara Land. He graduated at the top of his class from Sam Houston High School in 1973.

Paul was a quiet, humble, and hardworking man whose life reflected his faith, integrity, and devotion to his family. Over the years, he worked as a welder, heavy equipment operator, and professional cowboy-careers that embodied his strength, skill, and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Debi Land, who passed away in 2015. Also preceding him in death were his infant daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Land; his parents, Manuel and Barbara Land; and his sister-in-law, Donna Land.

Paul is survived by his two sons, Paul Eric Land and Jordan James Land; his daughter-in-law, Amber Marie Land; and his five grandchildren: Stormy, Isabella, Scarlett, Jordan Jr., and Blake. He is also survived by three siblings: his brother, John Land and sisters, Cynthia Klorer (Mike) and Grace Land as well as many other beloved family members.

A proud Texan, Paul spent most of his life in his home state. He found joy and peace in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his family. Above all, he was a man of deep faith in Jesus Christ, quiet strength, and enduring love.

To his children and grandchildren, Paul was a hero-a source of wisdom, guidance, and steadfast support who will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rutledge Cemetery, 1735 Rutledge Rd., Poteet, TX.
