Paul Wesley LeCrone, 78, of Tomball, went to be with his Lord April 6, 2025. He was born February 17th, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Henry L. LeCrone and Faye (McQuary) LeCrone.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy P. LeCrone; son, Matthew P. LeCrone; daughter, Elizabeth LeCrone; daughter in law, Sherrie LeCrone; granddaughter, Corrie Faye LeCrone; sister, Nancy Wadlow; brother-in-law, Bob Wadlow; sister-in-law, Ginger Lester; brother-in-law, Rick Lester; sister-in-law, Peggy Denton; brother-in-law, Paul Denton as well as nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Above all else, Paul loved his Lord Jesus Christ and served him faithfully all his life. Paul served the Lord in ministry for 40 years as a music minister, discipleship minister, and missions minister. Prior to his ministry, Paul proudly served as a radio man in the US Navy on the USS Oklahoma City (1966). After his 4 years of service, Paul received a Bachelor's degree in Church Music from Oklahoma Baptist University (1973) and a Masters of Religious Education from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (1976). He served on staff at churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and North Carolina with the bulk of his service at Immanuel Baptist Church Rogers, Arkansas. He developed a passion for spreading the Gospel throughout the world. This passion for missions took him on multiple mission trips to Guam, Taiwan, Mexico and numerous trips to his church's ministry in Haiti. He retired in Houston, Texas and continued his ministry as a Life Bible Study teacher at Houston's First Baptist Church - Cypress.
His second passion in life was his family with his baby granddaughter as the cherry on top. He married his wife, Kathy, on July 31, 1971. Their son, Matthew Paul, was born in 1976 and their daughter, Elizabeth, in 1983. His daughter-in-law, Sherrie, joined the family in 2015. Corrie Faye, the apple of his eye, was born to Elizabeth in 2023 and filled her grandfather's heart with joy.
Paul lived every day of his life to an Audience of One.
"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly to the gospel of the grace of God." Acts 20:24
