November 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents, George and Eulah Littrell; brothers, David Keith Littrell, Wayne M. Littrell; sister-in-law, Teresa Peterson. Survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kristine Baker Littrell; children, Deborah (Don) Sherman, Steve Littrell, Dana (Michele) Cline, Jason (Beth Anne) Cline, Aaron (Charity) Cline; grandchildren, Emily Sherman, Benjamin Sherman, Gabriel Sherman, Alexis (Max) Cline, Joshua Cline, Kaleb Cline, Nicholas Cline, Emma Chilson-Cline, Christopher Chilson-Cline, Jacob Chilson-Cline, Carlee Turof, Alex Turof, Brandon (Cherish) Cline, Devin Cline; great-grandchildren, Archer Cline, Huntleigh Cline, Holden Cline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou Littrell, Charles Peterson, Michelle (Mike) Caya, James (Melva) Baker; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul Littrell was an exceptional man – intelligent, witty, kind and generous. During his 34 years as a high school English teacher Paul taught literally thousands of students in Ravenna, OH, Canandaigua and Pittsford, NY. He loved his career! From boyhood Paul was an avid reader and could speak knowledgably on almost any topic. A real Renaissance man, he enjoyed photography, art, films, plays and all kinds of music. During his retirement he became an accomplished quilter, designing and crafting quilts for family and friends. He published a book of his original poems, a coffee table book on birds and pond wildlife, and a touching autobiography. He was also an excellent cook – famous for his Beef Wellington, bacon-wrapped scallops, and scones.
Paul believed in service and generously volunteered his time as a member of the Tax Aide program, doing taxes free of charge for many in his community. He also served on the Board of the Art Club in Sun City Center and his local HOA Board.
Paul loved being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a profound impact on the children in his life, attending school concerts, sporting events, and even Grandparents Day. He treated the grandchildren to memorable trips to amusement parks and they all loved to join him on the Bumper Cars. He taught all of the grandchildren how to cook hotdogs on the grill and pancakes on a griddle. He was a great listener, played endless board games, and lots of games of mini golf.
Paul will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
Friends may call to the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd., Webster) Friday, November 21st from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church (783 Hard Rd., Webster) Saturday, November 22nd, at 10 am.
