Rickey Floyd "Rick" Littrell

Rickey "Rick" Floyd Littrell, 67, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Rick was born on August 4, 1958, in Madison County, NC. He was married to Kathy for 38 years before she passed in January 2024. He was the owner and operator of Carolina Carpet Magic. He genuinely enjoyed his work and had made many friends throughout his career.

Rick was a man of faith and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished his family and time spent with those he loved most. He enjoyed traveling, especially cruises exploring new places.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Littrell, Mother Joanne Littrell, Father Ralph Sprouse, sister Connie Sprouse, and brother Buster Littrell.

He is survived by his son Michael Littrell (Michelle), grandchildren Jake, Mikayla and Ricky Sister Wanda Lowery (Jimmy), sister Donna Honeycutt, mother in law Katherine McMahon and many nieces and nephews.

Rick will be deeply missed and remembered by his family and friends. Including his niece Addison whom he considered a granddaughter, Aunt Karen and lifelong friends Paul (April) Michales and Judy Roberts.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life March 14, 2026, 12pm-4pm at his home, 77 Lookout Rd., Asheville.
