It is with profound sadness and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Paul Lowman Jr., a cherished friend, devoted family member, and remarkable individual whose loving spirit touched all who knew him. Paul was born on May 5th, 1953 and passed away in his home surrounded by loved ones on November 7th, 2025.
He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Iras Macy Lowman, Son(s) Kenneth Headrick and Phillip Gray Lowman Sr. Both his his parents Paul Lowman Sr. and Evelyn Brown Garcia.
Surviving him are his son(S) Jeff B. Lowman (Amy) of Thomasville, Adam R. Spencer (TA) of Spencer, Christopher M. Lowman Sr. of Walnut Cove. His Daughter(s) Jamie Lowman of Thomasville and April Hicks (Ritchie) of Walnut Cove. A legacy of 17 grandchildren and 16 Great - Grandchildren. His Sister Connie Agee (Tony) of Vinton, VA, His brother(s) John Lowman (Robin) of Thomasville and Michael Lowman (Marie) of Durham. Honorary Brother(s) and faithful friends Michael Messer (Ruby) of Archdale and James "Jimbo" Hicks of Greensboro.
Paul's life was defined by kindness, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. He approached every day with gratitude, always eager to share a laugh or lend a helping hand. His generosity of spirit was evident in the way he supported all he met, giving freely of his time and wisdom.
Born with a curiosity that never wavered, Paul was a lifelong learner and hard worker. He found joy in spreading the word about his lord and savior, being with his family and friends sharing stories, and nurturing relationships. His warmth made others feel welcome and his thoughtful nature ensured that everyone around him felt valued.
Paul's quiet strength and gentle guidance left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path. Whether offering advice or simply listening, he inspired others to lead lives of purpose and compassion. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless moments of joy he brought into the world.
He is survived by those who loved him deeply and who lives are brighter for having known him. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the memories, the lessons, and the love Paul Shared so generously. May his spirit continue to inspire us to kindness, compassion and gratitude every day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 15, 2025 at 5 PM located at The Well Church, 906 Oaklawn Dr. Thomasville, NC 27360.
