Paul Luccioni Obituary

Dear husband of Daniela Petraglia-Luccioni, loving father of Charlotte and Madison, and fur-baby Baine, cherished son of Gemma and Al Luccioni, beloved brother of Tara (Patrick) Braun and dearest uncle of Emma, Jack, Sofia, Olivia, Stella and Luca.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Paulie, personally you know he was one of the most beautiful, genuine honest soles that God put on our earth. Paul loved his family and singing with his kids to silly songs they made up. He loved a great road trip and car karaoke. Our home was filled with love and laughter. His children will never forget any of the lyrics to a song they made up or how much he would glow when he was surrounded by his kids and family. His wife knew he hated to dance but he always danced with her in the kitchen and never missed an opportunity to make up a silly dance or put on a show for his family just to get them laughing. His kids favorite made up song was " Don't cry for me Angelina".

Paul loved his cars and loved building them. He had the most talented hands and could fix anything. He was an asset to any company he worked for including the DEP and Express Oil and Tire Engineers. His coworkers were an extension of his family. Him and his dad spent many long days working on projects together. His last project was teaching his daughters to change timing belts and replacing brakes and rotors. He loved being out on Greenwood Lake and made sure all the kids got a turn on the jet-ski. He loved being out on the boat and telling Jack "ATTACK" he was going to throw him overboard. He loved the beach, especially being buried in the sand by the kids. He never missed an opportunity to joke with Emma about being a sloth. He was a Yankee fan, loved the Jets and couldn't get enough memorabilia.

He loved to cook, especially if the recipe came from his Grandma Nettie. He loved baked goods, especially his sister Tara's magic bars, and he never missed a birthday without a custom cake made by his wife and daughters or his mother king crab legs. He's definitely going to miss his moms banana bread. He loved Grandma Jean, but didn't love her cooking but inherited her love for sitting in the sun. Paul loved tradition and made sure apple picking took place every year so he can make apple sauce for the kids. Step aside apple sauce companies, once a year, Paul Luccioni was putting you out of business.

He was hard working and regardless of his schedule, never missed a Christmas morning with his girls, always needed a fresh cut Christmas tree and loved decorating the lawn for holidays. He loved Thanksgiving especially his favorite dessert that his brother in law Pat made jokes about each year. He got a personal sweet potato pie each year made by his mom. He loved Halloween, and never missed a performance for his kids.

Paulie will never be forgotten and his memory will continue to live on in Charlotte and Madison. He brought so much joy and great memories to all the people he loved.
