Paul Kenneth Maynard, 81, of Louisa, KY passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025. Paul was born on December 12, 1944 in Louisa, KY. He was the son of the late Charles Lindsey Maynard and Dolly Elisabeth Lemaster Maynard.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Henry (Lenore) Maynard, Mallie Mae Maynard, Charles (Marie) Maynard Jr., Geneva (Nelson) Cadle, Wendell Maynard, Lester (Bernice) Maynard, Joe E. (Ruth) Maynard, Wayne E. (Kay) Maynard, and Jimmy Roger Maynard.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Emma Jean Miller Maynard; his sister, Fannie (Tom) Caperton; two sons Paul Kenneth Maynard II of Lexington, KY and Trenton Blake (Ashley) Maynard of Chapman, KY; two grandchildren Riley Wayne Maynard and Olivia Rose Maynard; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul started his own carpet business, Paul's Carpet, after working 15 years at Louisa Carpet Mill, and later Martiki Coal. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports of all kinds, and farming. He also enjoyed spending time at David Hill's Coin Shop with his friends.

Funeral services for Paul will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maynard Family Cemetery on Highway 3 South Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, January 2nd from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 7:00 PM.

Care for Paul and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
