Shirley Ann Maynard, 66, of Paintsville, KY, passed away at Cabell Huntington Hospital on Saturday, January 31st.

Shirley was born on June 14, 1959, to the late James B. Maynard and Pauline (Davis) Maynard.

She was preceded in death by her father, James B. Maynard, and one grandchild.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline Maynard, two brothers, James B. (Barbie) Maynard, Jr., Robert Darryl (Lena) Maynard, and one sister, Linda Sue Maynard.

She also leaves behind five children: Gary Lee Gamble, Paula Charlene Gamble, Alesha Ann Gamble, Jennifer Leann Gamble, and Adriana Leshay Lowe (adoptive); seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four nieces, one nephew, one great-niece, and a host of cousins.

Shirley loved life and brought the laughter to any room she entered. She liked reading her bible, baking, and writing poetry. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 10th. at 2pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Luke Cassell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, February 10th. from 10am until the time of services.

All care and final arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.

This is to my best freind my mom and my hero.I love u mother and I just want everyone to know what a sweet soul u had and this is the hardest thing I have dealt with but mom I´d give anything for one more day to just walk in an see that beautiful smile you gave me every morning how my days have changed since u went home
