OBITUARY
Paul Philip Merando, a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY; formerly of Beacon/Cold Spring, NY, passed away suddenly at his home in Wappingers Falls on July 14, 2025; at the age of 57. He was born in Cold Spring on November 13, 1967, son of the late Philip Anthony & Ruth Ann (Hanna) Merando. Paul attended and graduated from Haldane Central School in Cold Spring; he also attend Columbia and Hunter College, and Albany Medical College.
He was a man who wore many hats, particularly he loved being a chef for 30-years.
Paul was all-round Mr. Fix-it, you name it he was there to help, figure it out and fix it, whatever it was. He enjoyed working on cars, loved to cook. He loved to learn new things.
Paul is survived by his loving companion of 16-years, Michelle Rodriguez, and his step-daughter Heather DuBose. He is also survived by one sister Debra Waage, his nephew Michael O'Connor, and a host of extended family and friends.
His Family will receive Friends on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 64 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, where a service will be held at 12 NOON followed by interment to the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, New York.
