Paul Michael Moore, age 70, passed away surrounded by his family and friends April 25, 2025. He was born May 26, 1954, in Petoskey, Michigan, the son of Francis W. and Valeria M. (Nort) Moore. Paul grew up in the Gaylord area on a golf course with his parents that he talked about often, mentioning that he was the "spoiled baby" of the family. He married Karen S. Nunes September 5, 1998, at an antique Harley Davidson swap meet in Davenport, Iowa.
He loved going on golf cart rides with Karen and their dog Bella. Karen and Paul enjoyed many Harley rides together along with their adventures to Sturgis.
Paul will be remembered by many as a Harley enthusiast, his signature ponytail and smile. His passion was restoring vintage Harleys. He loved his time away at swap meets visiting friends and looking for treasures.
He was a member of the Wolverine Chapter of AMC for many years and the Antique Motorcycle group since 1996.
Surviving Paul is his loving and dedicated wife of 37 years Karen Moore of Ionia. Son, Adam Kerr of California and daughter, Angie (Doug) Leland of Ionia. Grandson Dawson Leland, who brightened Paul's day as he has watched him grow and gave him his first Harley ride. Brother, Steven P. Moore of Interlochen. Special friends, Rich and Paula Geldhof and Jeff and Karen Murray along with several other special friends. Paul's passing will leave a void in our lives, but his memory will always be in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held for Paul at the Steele Street Hall, 115 S. Steele Street Ionia on Friday, May 2nd from 4-7 p.m. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
