Proud lifelong resident of Bayview entered Eternal Life on New Year's Day when his heart suddenly stopped at the age of 75. Loving husband and best friend of Dawn (nee Short), treasured dad of Michelle Mueller and Angela (Byron) Monzon. Adored Bumpa of Keira, Ashlyn and Everett Thompson and Lia, Tessa, Logan and Donovan Monzon. Dear brother of the late Melvin (Dora) Mueller of Merritt Island Florida, Edward (Patti) Mueller, brother-in-law Jeff (Cathy) Short of Okauchee, Craig (Margaret) Short of Muskego. Loving uncle to Kim Mueller, Paula Mueller, Pike (Jen) Mueller of Florida, Danny Mueller, Robyn (Stan) Bartol, Ryan (Becky) Short, Kyle (Tara) Short, and Mason (Alyssa) Short. Special uncle to Tyler Clausen and Courtney (Jake) Reynolds, great uncle to Zoe, Brandon, Mikalah, Nicolette, Blake, Addison, Owen, Penny, Bailey, CJ, and Mac.
Paul was a graduate of Bay View High School and retired letter carrier of the Bay View Post Office. He enjoyed traveling, baseball, horseshoes, bowling, gardening, yard work, State Fair, the Brewers and the Packers. He loved spending time with his family and his many, many friends. He led a very fun, adventure-filled life. Paul touched the lives of everyone he ever met.
He will leave a Big Hole in all of our hearts.
Visitation Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Krause Funeral home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Thursday, January 15, 2026, Visitation 9:00 AM until Christian service at 10:00 AM.

Dear Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about Paul´s passing. I can´t imagine the pain you are going through. I´m so happy you are surrounded by family and friends to help you through this.
