St. George, Utah – On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Paul Judd Mulliner, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend completed his mortal mission and passed away in his home, surrounded by members of his family.
Paul, born March 12,1937, was the fourth of six children born to Bernard and Laura Judd Mulliner in Kanab, Utah. The family relocated to the Salt Lake City area where Paul married Marilyn Mildred Jeffery. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple and their union resulted in five children, 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren (to date).
Paul was a people lover and always looked for ways to help others. Paul was devoted to self-improvement for himself and his family throughout his life, teaching himself masonry skills one brick at a time, which revealed a skill and creative builder. He has a great love of hunting and all things outdoors, and especially for horses, which led him to the Mountain Sheriff's Posse where he received service awards and eventually served as Captain. Paul and Marilyn served a mission for the LDS church in Nauvoo, Illinois and also served as ordinance workers in the St. George Temple. Paul's devotion to his faith was an example that lasted until his last breath.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Laura Judd Mulliner; sisters: Marlene Frederick and Laura Dean Margetts; brothers: Samuel Bernard Mulliner and Dell Roy Mulliner; and granddaughter Jacee Jo James; as well as other loved and desired grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife, Marilyn Mulliner; daughters: Lori Langenecker (John) and JoLynn Price; sons: Paul Judd Mulliner, Jr. (Colleen), Wynn Barry Mulliner (Stacy), and Bradley Charles Mulliner (Tracy); 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters; and sister Ellen Archibald; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Applegate Hospice for their kindness and assistance to Paul and the family over the past few weeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family thanks you for donations to the Primary Children's Hospital, https://intermountainhealthcare.org/primary-childrens/give.
