Paul A. Ouellet, age 86, of Erie passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025 with his children by his side.
Paul was born to the late Eva (Blakeslee) and Charles J. Ouellet on November 11, 1939, the youngest of five children.
Paul was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara in 1936, his brother, Robert and his wife Sharel; his brother-in-law Ambrose Till, his dear partner, Jeanne Fish and his friend and mother of his children, Arlene Williamson.
He graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1958. Paul worked tirelessly to provide for his family and 40 of those years were with Schaal Glass. His professionalism, accuracy and perfectionism were his calling card. He was the most assuredly a measure twice, cut once kind of guy.
He also had an eye for detail and design which led to his great admiration for cars. Paul loved to drive his freshly washed and waxed car, while on the lookout for the next beauty. He enjoyed attending car shows and car races with his son Dan.
Most important to Paul was his family; his daughter Kathleen Ouellet, his son, Daniel and wife Marianne Ouellet and three grandsons, Mark and Joe of Erie and Jacob and his wife Kristen of Arlington, VA. He is further survived by his sisters, Judy Till and Mary Jane (Bob) Lockard, nieces and nephews and family friend, Sherri O’Connell.
