Paul Reynold Overdorf

Paul Reynold Overdorf, 86 years old, passed away on February 28, 2025, at the Ted and Diane Brandley Hospice House, in Summerfield, FL.
Paul was born in Pottstown, PA to Paul Reynold Overdorf Sr, and Sue (Boone) Overdorf on June 2, 1938. He and his brother, Mickey were orphaned early on and went to live and attend school at the Milton Hershey School for Boys in Hershey, PA. Once he was old enough, he left Milton Hershey School for Boys and enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire and was later honorably discharged. He married Ruth (Ritter) on June 9, 1973, in Pottstown, PA. He worked for Dana Corp, before moving to Summerfield, Florida in 1984; where he worked for Lockhead Martin until he retired in 2004. In the early years of their marriage, he accompanied Ruth on Medical Ministry international trips to Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, and Liberia. He loved to work with model trains; he belonged to several bowling leagues and enjoyed a leisurely game of golf.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Sue Overdorf & brother Mickey Overdorf.
Paul is survived by Ruth Overdorf (wife), (children) Lisa Smyth (daughter), Samantha (daughter) & Kenneth Finley (son in law), Ryan Overdorf (son); grandchildren--Courtney Osenbach, Robert Porter, Gabrielle Porter, Kenneth Stewart, Keith Stewart, Faith Finley, & Chyanne Wagner; great grandchildren--Trinity, Lucy, Isaiah, Zipporah, Ezra, Eli, Alex, and Hunter.
There will be no funeral services.
