Paul "P.J." Smith, age 41 of Dayton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on October 16, 2025. He was born December 3, 1983 son of Jeffrey Leonard and his late mother Leslie.

P.J was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was an avid sports fan with the Cincinnati Bengal's. P.J's pride and joy was his family and bringing a smile to those around him. He enjoyed going to Tennessee, Deer Camp, and trying new foods. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his Pappy, Paul Leonard; grandmother, Jo Ann Leonard; maternal grandfather, Wes Wells; maternal grandmother, Jean Harn.

P.J is survived by his wife, Danielle "Baby Girl" Holcomb; sons, Bryce and Collin; brother, John Smith; niece, Lillian Smith; cousins, Sam Galloway, Stacey Morris, and Dylan Leiter; fur babies, Luna, Loki, and Rowdy; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 6pm also at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made in P.J.'s honor to the Kidney Foundation.
