Paul Douglas Peterson

Paul Peterson age 64 of Crestview passed away on Monday January 9, 2023, at his brother's home surrounded by his family. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on April 27, 1958 to Everett and Elizabeth Peterson. Paul graduated from Crestview High School and then went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Paul was a simple and quiet man, but loved helping other people. He loved being in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and teaching his boys about the wilderness. Most of all Paul loved his family and spending time with the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Glen Peterson and a sister Linda Peterson.
Paul is survived by his long time friend and angel Judy Shoe; his sons: Adam Peterson and wife Jennifer; Nick Peterson, and Josh Peterson and his wife Heather; sister Elizabeth Sapp and husband Terry, Everett Peterson, Jr and his wife Sylvia, Cedric Peterson and his wife Darlene, and Ronald Peterson and his wife Carolyne; his grandchildren: Lauren, Olivia, Kayden, and Coral.
The celebration of Paul's life will be held on Thursday January 19, 2023 at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.
