Paul Pickens

William Paul Pickens, 63, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 21, 2025 in Decatur.

Celebration of Life is 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at U-Turn World Ministries in Chico, 306 N HWY 101 Chico, Texas 76431.  

Paul was born on March 22, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, to Paul Stephen and Dorothy Faye (Worley) Pickens. He married Tammy Miller on September 3, 1982, in Keeter. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and a beloved friend to many, all of whom will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Pickens, and his brother, Patrick James.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Tammy (Miller) Pickens of Chico; his daughter, Brandy Springer and her husband Chris of Fort Worth; his two sons, Justin Pickens of Richland Hills and Gage Mosco of Chico; his grandchildren, Madison Mosco and her partner Jonathen Gowers, Trystan Springer, and Aiyanna Springer and her partner Zackary Myers-Wise and their daughter, Phoebee; his great-grandchild, Greyson; his sisters, Sharon Withers and Kim Lawrence and her husband Steve; his brother, Michael Howard James; his mother-in-law, Donna Miller; his sister-in-law, Christy Harrison; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
