On April 3, 2021 Paul Poor succumbed to his battle with cancer. Paul graduated from Whittier Vocational Technical High School. After school he worked at Brentwood furniture. He then went to work at Haverhill Paperboard for 27 years. His final years were battling cancer and being retired. He spent his time working on motorcycles and riding his bike.

In 2011 Paul was diagnosed with leukemia, that began his long battle with cancer. There were many ups and downs but he persevered and fought through each obstacle with courage and the intense will to live. His wife, son and family friends helped him to keep a positive attitude.

In 2019 Paul was diagnosed with a secondary cancer. This cancer was the toughest he's ever had to face. It was unrelenting and finally after brutal treatments he lost the battle. In his final hours with his wife and son he still continued to try to fight.

Paul was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He love to be anywhere around nature. His prized possessions were his motorcycles. Each new ride was an adventure to meet new friends and make memories.

Paul and his wife were inseparable. They were like bookends, when one was missing the other was lost. They spent their years enjoying each other's company.
Paul took great pride watching his son grow into an amazing man. He shared his knowledge in fixing things. His proudest moment was when his son started Rally racing, a dream he held for years. The two of them would be out in the garage "wrenching" for hours. He even got to do a few laps at one of the races.

Paul belonged to The R.O.M.E.O. Club which he treasured the stories and laughter that they shared. He also worked on many of their motorcycles so that they can continue their journey of retirement in a safe way. He also belonged to the Seacoast Hog Chapter Of North Hampton New Hampshire. They became his new family throughout his ordeal. They were always there for him to encourage him to continue to fight and helping out whenever needed.

He was married to Teresa Poor for 39 years ,they loved each other very much. He leaves behind a son Paul Jr, and a daughter Melissa Visco. Grandaughter Brylee. Paul was the son of Pauline Poor. He was one of seven boys. Richard, Jimmy, John, Joseph (deceased), Robert, Roland. He had many aunts uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews but most of all many friends.

He will be sadly missed by many.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

You are my rock, my soul mate. No-one can take that away from us. I miss you more each day. Your strength and endurance throughout our life was commendable and admired by many. Those that chose not to embrace your presence must carry their own burden, for they missed out on amazing memories. Rest my love, I know death was not your option but you followed through to the end, never giving up!

I am so very sorry to read of Paul's passing, he was such a nice guy. And a better couple you could never meet. Always there to lend a hand to someone in need. I loved riding with them, they knew all the good places to ride, and Paul and I enjoyed talking about the birds we got in our yards. Peace be with you and Teri. Joy Wade
