Paul Rice age 95, born July 24,1930 passed away peacefully after a very short illness on October 12, 2025. Beloved son of Harold Rice (deceased) and Margaret Shafer (deceased).
Dear brother of Harold and twin brother Erich Rice (both deceased).
Loving father of Debora Zemla (husband Max), Pamela Carpenter (husband George III) and PaulEric Rice (wife Barbara).
Loving Gpa of Matthew Zemla (Jolene), Frank Zemla (Kimberly), Kimberly Laney (Joe), George Carpenter IV, Scott Rice (Samantha) and Katie Key (DJ).
Great grandpa to Samantha, Rachel and Elizabeth Zemla; Austin, Tater and Lane Andrews; Marli, Ella and McKenna Key; and Emmett, Parker and Oliver Zemla.
Loving uncle to Steve Rice, Ken Rice (Cis), Bruce Rice (Kim) and Scott Rice (Cathy).
Paul enjoyed his life to the fullest, especially whenever he could be with his twin brother Erich. Some of his fondest memories was our 1995 Call of the Wild family vacation out west with our final destination in Sturgis, South Dakota. He also enjoyed participating and riding his motorcycle to the 100th Harley-Davidson event in Milwaukee in 2003. He was an active member for many years with the South Cuyahoga Sportsmen Association and was also a mentor for the Big Brother and Big Sisters Association. After retirement he enjoyed traveling the country and became a part of the Workamper family and was also a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity community.
