Paul Rutherford Obituary
Paul was born on November 18, 1940, in Dallas, Texas to Lois Wilkerson and Seth P. Rutherford. He passed away on November 28, 2025.
Paul grew up in the Pleasant Mound area of Dallas, attended Woodrow Wilson High School and graduated from Samuel High School in 1958. He went on to The University of Texas at Arlington (formerly known as Arlington College, a part of Texas A&M), becoming a Mechanical Engineer and serving in the US Army Corps of Engineers with the Army Map Service.
Paul's professional career was with Blum Consulting Engineers where he eventually became it's President and CEO. He retired after 38 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara, his children Tracy Owens, Ross Rutherford, Ashley White (Alex} and his stepson Sam Grafford. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Glenn Long, Seth Rutherford, Ashley Puskarich and Owen Rutherford.
Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, 848 Harter Rd., Dallas, TX at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's.
