Paul B Schnitzer, 56 years old, passed away Sunday, March 30,2025 at his home in New Bloomfield. He was born August 25, 1968 in Rhinebeck, New York to Patricia Szabo and the late Robert Schnitzer.
He loved hunting and being outdoors at his camp.
Paul is survived by his wife Lori (Radle) Schnitzer; mother Patricia Szabo of Newport; son Adam Schnitzer of New Bloomfield; daughter Megan Geoghegan (Josh) of Shermans Dale; brother John Schnitzer (Jane) of Hanover; sister Wendy Hummel of Millerstown and grandchildren Peyton, Madelyn and Emersyn Geoghegan. He was preceded in death by son Nathan Paul Schnitzer.
Services will be held Friday, April 4 at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Eshcol Cemetery, Millerstown.

My condolences to the Schnitzer family. I had the privilege of knowing Paul for the past 10 years and the sampling of the man he was while I got to know him during work, I'm sure is a fraction of the impact that his loved ones are feeling right now.

Still Can't get over Paul beating a 55 gallon drum with a pick to turn it into a burning barrel... Good and fun times.... So many of them its hard to only pick a few. Rest well buddy . Remember Bambee also went to heaven, Watch your aim The big man is watching you now !!
