Paul William Servatius passed away peacefully on July 5th, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Paul was born on August 31st, 1944 to Raymond L. Servatius and Mary D. Lambruscati in Syracuse, New York. He was the youngest of three boys and had a very special bond with his brothers. His family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1949 where he spent the remainder of his childhood and attended Judge Memorial High School.
Paul was known for his great sense of humor, big personality, and his love of rock 'n roll. He made friends easily and had a gift for accepting those around him exactly as they are. As his health declined, Paul resided in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities where he made many friends who will miss him dearly. He enjoyed being part of facility community planning, joining his buddies for smoke breaks, and listening to music.
Paul was raised in the Catholic Church and though he was a self-proclaimed "black sheep", he never lost his faith. He was very close to his oldest brother, Monsignor Robert "Bob" Servatius who always welcomed him to be part of a loving Catholic congregation. Monsignor was Pastor of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, in Sandy, in which Paul found acceptance and life-long friendships.
Paul was also very close to his brother, David, and treasures the relationships he has with David's children. He loved being an Uncle and cared for his family more than anything else in his life.
The family would like to thank the Guardian Advocates Services, Truewood by Merrill, and Mount Olympus Rehabilitation Center for all of their care and friendship.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents; and both of his older brothers, whom he missed dearly these last several years. He is survived by the children and family of his brother David, as well as many friends and members of the Blessed Sacrament Parish.

My condolences & sympathy to the family. I loved seeing Paul at mass when Mike would bring him. Always got big hugs!!! Loved those. He always loved helping us at the beer booth when the church had annual festivals. He was a great friend.
Will miss him greatly.
