Paul Shepherd Obituary
Paul Raymond Shepherd, 90, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Hampton Manor. Paul was born May 29, 1935, in Toledo, OH, to parents Sigler and Mary (Cornell) Shepherd. A carpenter by trade, Paul retired from Lathrop Company where he served as a Foreman and Superintendent for more than 30 years, before retiring in 1998. Paul loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events. He also enjoyed golf, boating, fishing, and listening to country music. He had a passion for and unique skill in carpentry, which led to helping construct numerous homes for the family.
He is survived by his daughter, Terri (Mike) Ward; sons, Paul Wesley (Laury) and Scott Edward (Michaele) Shepherd; grandchildren, Jill (Chris) Long, Michael (Anna) Ward, Zachary (Heather) Shepherd, Jonathan (Lexi) Shepherd, Derek (Peyton) Shepherd, Lindsey (Grant) Laurer, Thomas (Samantha) Shepherd, Joseph (Amber) Shepherd; brother, Ronald Shepherd; and 9 great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Sigler and Mary (Cornell) Shepherd; loving wife, Bonnie (Oberle) Shepherd; great-grandson, Miles W. Shepherd; sister, Viola; and brothers, Raymond, Kelsey, and Earl.
Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m.
Paul's family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for their loving care and support during this difficult time.
