I met Roger through his sister Ronda. He must have took a liking to me as he recruited me to play two hand touch football;pond hockey, softball and golf. Roger was one of the most competitive persons I´ve ever known. He loved to compete and try to get in your head so to speak. He had a rather brash personalty but if he liked you he would do anything for ya. All I can say is he was one hell of an athlete and was good at anything he played. He was " one of a kind". He was seven years older than me and was like an older brother I never had. I moved to Florida 48 years ago but I usually tried to make contact when I returned to Michigan. I usually could find him at the vfw sitting in his special stool at the corner of the bar. Rest in piece my friend and when we meet again I´ll buy you a beer.
