It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Thomas Sims, who left us on August 18, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on September 17, 1945, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he was a beloved son to the late Joseph and Patry (Polston) Sims.

Paul married his late wife, Patricia, on December 8, 1973, and together they raised four children: Michelle Mason (Larry), Jennifer Sims, Debra Trueman (Steve), and Julie Harris (who preceded him in death). Paul was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to eight.

A dedicated blue-collar worker, Paul spent many years working for General Motors, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He was a hardworking man who had a passion and a knack for tinkering with cars and lawnmowers, always finding joy in working with anything that had a motor. His love for the outdoors was apparent in his hobbies, as he enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could.

Paul was not just a father and grandfather; he was a friend, a brother, and a man of great faith. He was actively involved in his church, sharing his warmth and humor with everyone around him.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Michelle, Jennifer, and Debra, and his beloved sister, Lillie Sims. He has been reunited in peace with his father, Joseph, his mother, Patry, his brother, Phillip, his sister, Edna, his wife, Patricia, and his dear daughter, Julie.

To honor Paul's memory, a Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (follow the red line upon entering the memorial park). His final resting place will be the Lakeside Mausoleum in Magnolia.
