Paul Stann Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. on Feb. 13, 2025.
Paul J. Stann, accomplished real estate developer in Denver, Colorado, passed away on February 6, 2025, he was 71 years old. Paul was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer over a year ago; he remained positive, continued working and never lost his sense of humor throughout.
Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Paul was the son of the late Paul and Mafalda Stann. Paul is survived by his older brother, Nick Stann, and many dear friends who supported him through his illness.
As a child growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Paul spent numerous hours creating model buildings out of any materials he could find. Paul later attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering followed by a Master's Degree in Architecture.
Paul's early career began in Orlando, Florida where he played a major role in building much of Walt Disney's Epcot Center. Upon moving to Denver, Paul launched S-2 Partners LLC in 1985, where his development success is visible in some of the most prominent structures in the city-Palace Lofts, Flour Mill Lofts, Hotel Teatro, Waterside Lofts, Cherry Creek's Clayton Lane, The Confluence, 16 Market Square and The Four Seasons Hotel.
Paul was passionate about his work. He influenced a younger generation of aspiring developers and served as a dedicated mentor to numerous individuals over the years. Paul's business acumen was complimented by his vibrant and amusing personality. When Paul wasn't working, he enjoyed playing golf and attending various sporting events.
Paul embraced life to the fullest-he was a formidable competitor who learned the rules of the game and never lost sight of playing it better than anyone else.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 20th at 10 AM at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown, PA 15401.
Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
