Paul Brett Taylor, 65 of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his home. He was born January 24, 1961 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Carl & Mary (Neighbarger) Taylor. He married Laurie A. Meyers the mother of his children, and they later divorced.

He is survived by his children, Brett (Cassie Papenfus) Taylor, Abigail Taylor & Grant Taylor, siblings John (Linda), Mark & Mary Taylor, grandchildren Ellie Sherman & Oliver Taylor.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents & brothers David, William & Robert Taylor.

Paul was a 1979 graduate of Fostoria High School & worked at Filmtec in Fostoria. He was a member of the Fostoria Eagles, was an avid Buckeyes fan & loved to fish & play golf. In his younger days he spent a lot of time playing softball at Meadowlark Park and also played in bowling leagues at Seneca Lanes for 22 years.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Knights of Columbus, Fostoria, Ohio from 1-4 p.m. Local arrangements were handled by Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio.
