With great sadness we announce the loss of our beloved husband & father, Paul Joseph Verges aka "Papa", on October 8, 2020 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 9, 1952 in Manchester, England to Joseph & Margaret Verges. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest and loved his family and friends. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, playing golf, dancing, eating seafood, watching his Dallas Cowboys and being a kid playing with his grandchildren. His favorite place to be was on a beach in Florida, deep sea fishing or anywhere with a fishing pole in his hand. He has left our family and friends with so many happy memories that will be remembered and cherished forever. He is the Man, the Myth, the Legend. Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debrah Verges; three children: Nathan Verges, wife Lisa; Trisha Mobley, husband Michael; and Elizabeth Martinez, husband Argelio; six beautiful grandchildren: Tanner, Brooklyn, Rylan, Ethan, Madison and Sophia; and brother and sisters; Tina Arnold, Steve Verges, Deanne Donze, and Arleen Wegman. A service to celebrate his life will be held on November 8, 2020. Location to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate/memorial-giving.html
