Paul Watson, 89, of Branch, AR, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1924 in Chismville, Ar to John & Minnie Watson. He married Dora Fox on August 23, 1942. He was a veteran of the US Navy during World War 11 serving in the South Pacific; was a member of Branch zAssembly of God where he served as Deacon for over 50 years; retired from Combs Home Builders and was a retired Carpenter and Cattle Farmer. He was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence and Floyd and daughter-in-law Cindy Watson. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1st, at Smith Mortuary Chapel with interment at Caulksville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Mortuary. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dora Watson of the home, five sons, Raymond and wife Gail of Charleston, Richard and wife Elaine of Lavaca, Robert and Ronald Dean both of Branch, Randy and wife Joan of Paris; two brothers Virgil of Charleston and Les of Paris; two sisters Ellen Fox of Paris and Ethel Bogel of Harrison; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; Pall bearers are Josh & Jim Watson; Carroll Swain; Del Holloway, Melvin Swain and Staton Davis; Honorary pall bearers Rev. Clinton Ridell, Rev. David Wasson, Rev. Glendal Black and members of Branch Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be from, 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday evening at Smith Mortuary Memorial may be made to Branch Assembly of God church, PO Box 99, Branch, Ar 72928
