PAUL W. WEBSTER

1939 - 2025

Paul W. Webster, 85, of Wellsboro, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at The Green Home, Wellsboro. He was born December 21, 1939, in Wellsboro, the son of the late Merle B. and Neva (Pope) Webster.
Paul graduated from Wellsboro High School, Class of 1958. He worked as a warehouse forklift operator for Mergenthaler Corp. for 23 years and Osram for 19 years. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed gardening, landscaping, photography and being outdoors. He enjoyed gifting his wood projects and wood turnings to family, friends and many others in the community.
Paul is survived by sons: Kevin (Angie) Webster of Greensboro, Md.; Craig (Erin) Webster of Wellsboro; a daughter, Melissa (Merlin) Benner of Haines, Alaska; seven grandchildren: Benjamin, Angelica, Jonas, Melody and Harmony Benner; Riley Webster; Nicholas Webster; two great-grandchildren; his former wife and close friend, Darlene Webster; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by grandsons: Zachary Webster and Devin Webster and sisters: Helen Brooks Robertson and Vida Compton.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects Saturday, October 11, from 10-11 a.m. at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro.
