Paul David Wrosch, 82 years old, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on April 12, 2024.

Paul was born in Detroit on June 3, 1941 to Clarence and Anna (Burak) Wrosch.  He graduated from St. Thomas the Apostle, and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in English from Wayne State University.

Paul was married to Suzanne Francis on June 15, 1963; they were married for almost 61 years.

Paul worked as a high school English and journalism teacher for Clintondale Community Schools.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching the Tigers, Pistons, and Lions.  In his younger days, he was a high school football coach for Clintondale.  Paul was a very active member of St. Priscilla Church.  He was a mass lector, he sang in the choir, and was volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul.  He loved to provide for anyone in need and cared deeply for those he helped. Mostly, Paul was a very active “Grandpa.”  He attended numerous baseball and softball games, and had many outings with his grandchildren.  

Paul is survived by his wife, Suzanne, his daughter Michelene Celmer (Matthew), his grandchildren, Paul and Elena, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.  

Paul is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wrosch, his mother, Anna Burak Wrosch, and his sister, Barbara Jean Wrosch Soule Simmons.

The Visitation will be held at Manns Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 3 pm – 8 pm, with a rosary at 6 pm.  The funeral will be held at St. Priscilla Church in Livonia, Michigan on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10 am, with viewing at 9:30 am.  

Family requests memorial donations in memory of Paul may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, ASPCA, or Society of St. Vincent de Paul at https://svdpdetroit.org/Donate
