Manns Family Funeral Home - LivoniaOur beloved, Matthew E. Crutchfield, tragically left us on August 25, 2025, at the age of 41. He was born on August 16, 1984, in Livonia, Michigan, to George P. and Helene C. Crutchfield.
He was educated at Detroit Catholic Central High School, Grand Valley State University, and Madonna University.
Matthew worked in Quality Assurance at Absopure Water Company in Plymouth, Michigan.
He was loved and will be deeply missed by his father, George (aka Phillip); brothers, Gregory (Christine) and Andrew (Christina); and sister, Grenda (Craig) Drummonds, as well as his nephews, Bryant, Connor, and James, and niece Loren.
Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Helene (Izbicki) Crutchfield; uncle, Edward J. Izbicki, and his aunt, Terese A. (Izbicki) Kiska.
Matthew's passion for music was known from a young age, as he would practice drumming on tables, desks, and any other flat surface. His talents on the drums and guitar touched all who knew him.
An internment service is scheduled at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan, at 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2025.
Instead of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, a cause close to the family's heart, would be greatly appreciated.
