Paul Richard Zeigler II
Age 67 of Horseheads passed away February 7, 2025, with his family by his side. Paul was born on April 11, 1957 in Elmira, NY, to the late Paul Richard (Dick) and Barbara Hart Zeigler. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) Muller. He is survived by his son Jason (Marissa) Zeigler, grandchildren Jakob and Juliana Hart Zeigler. Sister Barbara (Doug, Jess, Ben, Kecia, Jen) Kelley-DeLuca of Park City, UT, Uncle Donald (Jan) Zeigler of Horseheads; Brothers and Sisters-in-laws Charles (Bobbi), Elizabeth (Dave), Robert (Deona); Niece Melissa, and Nephew Ryan, practically-like a sister Darlene Cole of Elmira and Sue Palmer of Horseheads many extended family members and lifelong friends. He was a graduate of Horseheads High School, Class of '75 and Elmira Business Institute '76. Following graduation, Paul joined the family business where he went on to have a successful lifelong career. Paul carried on his family legacy at Zeigler Florists year after year. Growing up, he enjoyed spending time at the family cottage, "Auf Wiedersehen" on Keuka Lake and was often found entertaining family and friends with his water skiing antics and fishing adventures. Paul belonged to several of the areas Rod and Gun Clubs over the years and was a certified New York State Hunter Safety Instructor for over 30 years. He enjoyed shooting skeet/clay, and loved to fish. More often he could be found outside with his lawn mower and tools doing yard work, planting, or working on a new project. Whenever he did decide to take a break and after he finished his nightly yard work, you could faithfully find him with his Peanut M&M's and scratchers.
Known by many as PR, Paul was hardworking, genuine, and loyal. He was a brother, a dad, a grandpa, he was everything to his family and will forever be missed. His loved ones find comfort in knowing that Paul went home to be with the Lord and will be reunited with his love Jackie.
Paul attended His Tabernacle Church, to which the family would like to extend their gratitude for all of the guidance and support you showed Paul, thank you. Family and friends are invited to Sullivan's Funeral Home (Rt. 13) in Horseheads NY, for calling hours on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 4pm-7pm with funeral service to immediately follow. Paul will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery with a private service for the family.

R.I. P. Cuz. Every summer growing up my mom, Paul's Aunt Lois, and dad would take me to Keuka Lake. First couple years it was to Grandpa Hart's cottage at the lake and the Zeigler clan, Uncle Dick, Aunt Barb, and cousins Barb and Paul would join a day or so later. Uncle Buzz and Aunt Fannie had the cottage that became the new spot as Aunt Fannie and Uncle Buzz passed. Great summers and memories every year with family growing up. Tho we weren't close these years we were still family. Love and peace to family.
