She was my teacher at Liverpool BOCES Business Classes in 1984, when I was 30 years old. It is hard to believe so many years have gone by. One of the things I remember about her is that she was the fastest typist i have ever encountered in my life- her typing was over 160 words per minute! I wish her happiness in heaven.

My sincerest condolences to Paula's family. I met Paula der Boghosian in 1987 when I entered the Business Careers Class at OCM BOCES in Liverpool. She always got a kick out of my use of "der" in her name. What an amazing time I had! Computers, typing, spelling, filing, organization, field trips, etc.! I was always looking for ways to get my classmates to laugh and quite often Paula caught me in the act for which she dubbed me her "Wild One"! At that time I was into wearing clogs and I had two pair...one navy blue and one natural tan both similar in style. I was doing a typing exercise and happened to look down and saw that I was wearing one blue and one tan clog. I gasped and started laughing and when Paula came to see what was up, she started laughing too. She later told me the story of how she was getting ready for work and spilled some coffee on a white skirt. She took it off and cleaned the spot and set it aside to dry. It wasn´t until she got to the classroom and removed her coat that she realized she was wearing only her slip and had forgotten to put her skirt back on. For some reason she took a "shine" to me and placed me in charge of supplies and spelling tests. Her energy and commitment to our training was amazing. The fact that she conducted different levels of learning at the same time was always mind boggling to me. She was certainly an inspiration. Paula was very interested in my Native American Heritage and after graduation we stayed in touch, and I presented her with a Native American Nativity set that I had made for her. Every once in a while, at Christmas, she would send me a picture of how she had it displayed. We would get together whenever possible and have lunch. She talked to me of her travels and her love of skiing. I in turn loved her eclectic decor style. Just about everything she owned had a special story behind it. She was very proud of her family and especially her brother´s beautiful paintings. If she found something "distasteful" she would wrinkle her nose and utter the sound, "eh"! Thanks to Paula and the training I received, I graduated from her class and was hired by the U.S. Dept. of Labor - OSHA. Unfortunately I hadn´t seen Paula since COVID. I missed seeing her then and I will continue to miss her! She was a very classy lady! If there is a new star in the Heavens, I´m sure it is Paula shining down on us. Patty "Wild One" Whyland

I loved seeing Paula and family parties. She enjoyed our children so much! Always showed an interest in other peoples passions. She was outgoing and gregarious.
Lisa, your love, dedication and care of your aunt for 3 1/2 years was a shining example of unconditional love and respect. Connor's support of you and your dedication to Aunt Paula shows that same unconditional love and respect for you.
You gave Paula the best end of life experience anyone could wish for. She died in her home. A familiar safe place and was able to do that because of your love and kindness. You are a true blessing.
Her bright star on earth will now shine bright from heaven. Her given name suited her perfectly.
Our deepest sympathy.

Paula was a dear friend of the Ajemian family. Very close to my Aunt Sarah. Through the years, I would visit her and listen to her wonderful travel stories I think she didn´t miss a country. She treated me to plays and many symphonies. She thought the world of my daughter, Melanie. Thank u Lisa, her niece, for taking such good care of her. She donated so much to St Paula´s Armenian Church and had a scholarship put in her brothers name Harry Boghosian in the School of Architecture, at Syracuse University. She was a good family friend. I will miss our visits Paula. Rest in Peace Love Robbie Schmitt

Paula was a wonderful neighbor and friend on Huntwood Path in Manlius. She lent me books to help me learn about Armenian history and culture. She was truly a very special lady. Rest in peace, Paula!
