Paula Jeanette Briscoe

Paula Jeanette Briscoe, age 78, of Ramsey, IN, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024.
Born on July 15, 1946, in Lebanon, KY, Paula was the beloved daughter of Vivian and Mary Martha (Gribbins) Barlow. She graduated from Lebanon High School, worked several years for the Fruit of the Loom Company in Ky, and then went on to have a fulfilling career with the Census Bureau before retiring. On February 12, 1972, Paula married Marvin Briscoe, and together they built a life filled with love and cherished memories in Ramsey, IN.
Paula will be remembered for her warm and generous spirit. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Mary Martha Barlow, and eight of her siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Marvin Briscoe; her siblings: Vivian (Ronnie) Cambron, James (Libby) Barlow, Alice Spalding, and Louise Graves; her children: Marvin (Angela) Briscoe Jr., Kevin Briscoe, Denise (Michael) Liebert, and Joshua (Natalie) Briscoe; her grandchildren: Angel Saltsgaver, Nathan Briscoe, Madison (Cameron) Buechele, Hannah Briscoe, Logan Liebert, Rorie Sea, and Maverick Briscoe; and her great-grandson, Remington Saltsgaver. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss her presence.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2025, and again from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey, IN.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025, with burial at St. Bernard Cemetery in Frenchtown, IN.
