Paula Jean Anderson Brooks, age 77 of Ranger, GA, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Advent Health Gordon.
Paula was born on May 19, 1946, in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul D. Anderson and Lucille Anderson Hawks. In addition to her parents, Paula was also preceded in death by her step-father, Marvin Hawk; daughter, Melissa North; sister, Sharon Anderson Ensley; and brother, David Anderson. Prior to retirement she worked in the cafeteria for the Gordon County School System.
Paula is survived by: her husband, Kenneth D. Brooks; two children, Fred Little and his wife Pam, Scott E. Brooks and his wife Charlotte; eight grandchildren, Kevin North, Kenneth H. Brooks, Erica Brooks, Shelby Brooks, Julia Little, Katie Little, Marshall North and Candance Adams; and eleven great-grandchildren, Sadie Possey, Hyram Adams, Adianna Brooks, Myra North, Kevin North, Lawrence Litke, Dawson Brooks, Jayleigh Brooks, Lilith Brooks, Dillan Robertson, and Raylen Kendrick.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 12 PM until 2 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers serving include: Kevin North, Cody Adams, Kenneth H. Brooks, Fred Little, Scott Brooks, and Kevin North, Jr.
