I am so devastated to hear of Paula´s passing. I know her from living in the same building in Greenwich Village on Carmine St. She was so friendly when I would see her and had a great and wicked sense of humor. I am greatly privileged to hang out with her and her sister, Francesca, too back in the late 70´s when she moved to her own apartment and I was invited to go. We had a lot of laughs. I am sending my condolences to Paula´s family and to her sister Francesca. Francesca, hopefully you remember me.

I met Paula through our love for Elton John in our Elton fan club groups on Facebook. Although I never met her in person, I felt as if I knew her the last few years as we became Facebook friends. She shared so many wonderful posts & videos of her family events. We both shared the same birthday which was very special. She was a wonderful person & so full of life & love!!!
She will be very missed. I'm looking forward to meeting her in our next life. I do believe this is not the end!!!

I met Paula through a fan based Facebook site that I joined to be able to communicate with other Elton John fans. Paula was one of the first people I felt a connection to, and it wasn´t long before I realized it wasn´t just our teenage idol she was enthusiastic about, but rather she had a passion for life. On "Talent Thursdays ," a day dedicated to those inspired by Elton John, she would record herself singing an EJ song in her car before beginning her daily activities, and we affectionately dubbed her "Parking Lot Paula." I felt most honored to read a draft of her novel "Penny´s Song," and I encourage her family and writing friends to continue her efforts in getting it published, as I believe in her character, and it´s a story worth telling. I regret not being able to meet her in person, but she truly touched my life.

Paula was so nice to work with. Always upbeat and doing her best for our customers. She had a wonderful, creative side to her personality.
