Paula Renee' Drake Trahan, passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 58 in Daisetta, Texas. Born on May 7, 1966, in Dayton, Texas, Renee’ was known for her friendly disposition; she never met a stranger and embraced life with a cheerful spirit. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to others, making her a cherished figure amongst family and friends.
Renee’s zest for life was reflected in her diverse interests and hobbies. She found joy in working outdoors, dedicating time to yard work and caring for sick animals. Her creative side flourished through crafts, and her love for nature often led her to enjoy fishing. Each experience was another opportunity to connect with the world around her.
Renee’ is survived by her loving mother, Georgie Drake of Daisetta, Texas; her husband, Timothy Trahan of Atlanta, Texas. She leaves behind her four sons: Timbo, John, and Anson Trahan, all from Daisetta, Texas, and Harley Johnson from Wyoming. Adding to her legacy, Renee’ was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren, who will remember her love and warmth for years to come.
She is also survived by her brother, Joe Drake and wife Vickie, from Zavalla, Texas, as well as an aunt, Pauline Graham of Hull, Texas. Renee’s family tree continues to grow with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, each weaving their own memories into the fabric of her life.
Renee’ is preceded in death by her father, Joe Thomas Drake, and her grandparents, Paul, and Lillian Flowers. Their memory lives in the hearts of those she held close.
Honoring Renee' as pallbearers are Timothy Ray Trahan Jr., John Ross Trahan Sr., John Ross Trahan Jr., Bricelynn Ray Trahan, Tracie Stengler, and Anson Trahan. Honorary pallbearers are Austin Wingate and Jason Sessums.
A visitation to honor Renee's life will take place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas. This will be followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, officiated by Kitty S Key, RLLP. Following the service, interment will occur at Guedry Cemetery in Batson.
Paula Renee' Drake Trahan will be remembered for her unyielding kindness and infectious spirit. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
