Paula Marie Estes

Paula Marie Estes, 71, of Paxton, passed away at 4:44 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at Goldwater Care, in Gibson City.
She was one of eleven children born on June 26, 1954, in Amarillo, TX, to Paul and Bessie Mae (Ragen) Clingenpeel. She married Dennis Estes on July 14, 2007, in Paxton. He survives.
She is also survived by three daughters- Kallie Riddle of Cheneyville, IL, Mariah Estes of Cuba, IL and Alexandra Estes of Danville, IL; three sons- Harrell Tilley of Hoopeston, IL, Nathaniel Estes of Newman, IL and Elijah Estes of Paxton, IL; several grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters- Elizabeth Kissack of Florida and Clydette Krueger of Iowa; three brothers- Patrick Clingenpeel of Hoopeston, IL, Bill Clingenpeel of Hoopeston, IL and Phil Clingenpeel of Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
Paula worked for Rantoul Products for several years and most recently was a cook at the Ford County Jail, until she retired. She loved bowling and traveling to the bowling nationals. She also enjoyed being with family, especially her grandchildren.
According to her wishes cremation rites will be arranged. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston to assist them in honoring Paula's life.
