Una Frances Davies Owen passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on October 23, 2025, in Wheatfield, Indiana.

Una was born on September 13, 1928, in Hoxie, Arkansas. Daughter of Monroe and Dessie Robinson Davies. Una married Raymond Lee Owen on November 10, 1947, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. They had two sons, Terry Ray and Rodney Jay. Una and Raymond were married 66 years when Raymond died April 6, 2014.

Una was a housewife most of her married life. She loved the outdoors, animals and birds, especially hummingbirds. She cared for her family, and they always came first. Una lived in different places during her life such as Hoxie, Arkansas, Richmond, California, Rossville, Illinois, Gary, Indiana, Tucson, Arizona, Venice, Florida, Merrillville, Indiana and back to Rossville, Illinois where she lived until 2017.

Survivors include her Son, Terry Ray (Michele) Owen of Temple Terrace Florida, Grandsons: Jason Ray (Cortnie) Owen of Wheatfield, Indiana, John Owen of Temple Terrace, Florida, and Michael Loving of Wheatfield, Indiana. Granddaughter: Jenna Owen of Florida. Great-Grandchildren: Riley, Blake, Kelly Owen of Wheatfield, Indiana. Sister: Rosie June Gunnison of Georgia. Her Dear friend Priscillia Lovas of Wheatfield, Indiana. Many nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly. Cherished pets: Austin and Duke, Dogs, Tinkerbell her cat, bunny, Thunder Thump.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, Son Rod Owen. Three brothers Artie Skeleton, Franklin and Richard Davies. Sister Wandalee Davies George and her very special niece Barbara Hill.

According to her wishes cremation rites will be arranged. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Rossville Cemetery, with Pastor Jeremiah Hill officiating. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. The family has entrusted the Blurton Funeral Home, in Hoopeston, to assist them in honoring Una's life.
