Thomas Glen Owen Jr., a cherished father, devoted husband, and proud Marine veteran, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on November 10, 1930, in Muncie, Indiana, Thomas lived a life filled with love, music, and creativity, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to resonate with all who knew him.

A graduate with a bachelor's degree, Thomas found his calling as an engineer in the industrial sector as an inventor and fabricator, dedicating many years of his career to Fernald.

Beyond his work, Thomas found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a particular fondness for old movies, often sinking into the comforting embrace of classic films that transported him to another time. Music was his other passion, with a special love for the sweet sounds of Bing Crosby and Dean Martin. He relished the enchanting tones of organ music, which often filled his home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends.

Thomas was a quiet and thoughtful man, always ready to lend an ear. He cherished his family deeply and spent invaluable time with his beloved wife Phyllis, engaging in square dancing and ballroom dancing-activities that brought them closer together and filled their lives with laughter and joy. He also enjoyed playing Euchre, a game that fostered camaraderie and friendly competition among loved ones.

A proud veteran of the Korean War, Thomas served in the Marines with honor and dedication. His experiences shaped him into the thoughtful and reliable man his family adored.

Thomas is survived by his loving sons, Thomas (Tenny Alinea) Owen III, Keith (Kathy Owen) Owen, and Joseph (Isako Owen) Owen, who carry on their father's legacy of kindness, creativity, and love for family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Artha Owen and his beloved wife, Phyllis A. Owen.

Family will hold private services.

As we say our goodbyes, we will remember the many moments of love and laughter, the melodies that filled his life, and the gentle spirit of a man who will be missed.
