Paula Gagle Obituary

Paula Gagle, 75 of Marion, passed away Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, at her home. Services will be held on Monday. July 1, 2024, 11:00 am, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A private burial following the service. Survivors include; daughters Kimberly (Peter) Finnerty, of Newport Beach, California, Amy (Larry) Howard, of Lisbon, Iowa. Grandchildren; Brenden, Cody, Emma, Grace, Charlie, PJ, and Scarlett. Sisters, Sue Kortemeyer and Norma (Jack) Stypa. Brother Ken (Edna) Courter, along with a dear friend, Joan Hovey. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gagle, her parents, and a sister LeAnn Courter. Paula was born on July 27, 1948, in Waterloo Iowa to Paul and Elizabeth Courter. She graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1967. Paula was married to Frank Gagle on April 28th, 1984, in Waterloo. She worked for Von Maur in Cedar Rapids for over 25 years. Paula enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, and caring for her dogs and grand dogs. She loved spending time with her daughters, son in-laws and seven grandchildren. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Cedar Valley Humane Society.
