Paula Jeck passed away on November 3, 2024 surrounded by her loving family, after a brief and courageous fight in the face of medical challenges. Born on July, 9, 1963, Paula was raised in Rhinebeck, NY and was a graduate of Rhinebeck, High School. After living and working in New York City for many years, Paula moved to Hastings-on-Hudson and was part of the Rivertown community for nearly a decade. She was a dedicated employee and a trusted colleague of Orange and Rockland Utilities in Spring Valley, NY.

Paula is survived by her beloved siblings, Debra Macon (Steven), Russell Jeck (Barbarann) and Amy Michaels (Kevin). In addition, she leaves behind her treasured niece and nephews, Ashley Duplessis and Tyler Jeck and their families, Zachary and Jared Michaels as well as her brother-in-law, Ray Brown. Paula is predeceased by her mother, Ann Jeck, father, Richard Jeck, sister, Teddi Brown and nephew Travis Jeck.

Paula will best be remembered for her warmth, joyful disposition and generous and open heart. Her bright smile and twinkling eyes were welcoming and inviting to anyone she encountered. To many who knew Paula, she was considered their favorite person. She was a dedicated cat mom and an active volunteer for Paws Crossed Animal Rescue. She gravitated to those in need, was unconditionally accepting and never judgmental. Paula gave of herself unselfishly, caring for elder family members and making countless sacrifices. She was deeply loved, profoundly appreciated and will be sorely missed.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life to honor Paula's memory. In keeping with her wishes, Paula's remains will be scattered on the beaches of Cape Cod, MA, a place where she found peace and serenity.
