Paula Anne Miller

Paula Anne Miller (nee Moratz) late of Cape Coral, Florida formerly of Crete, Illinois. Passed away Tuesday, June 27th, 2023, after a long courageous battle with Cancer. She was born September 1, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Paul and Dorothy (Kelly) Moratz. In 1954, her parents relocated to Park Forest where she attended grade school at St. Irenaeus and then went on to graduate from Marian Catholic High School in 1969.

She worked in administration for the FBI for a few years and married Brian Miller in 1970. Shortly after their marriage she left the FBI to help run the family business and raise her children Brian and Keri. She re-entered the working world working for Milgram-Kagan where she developed lifelong friendships with Marianne Pienias, Marianne Claster & Sher Ford. She went on to work for the world's largest trade organization, FIEI that later became EMI. Once EMI merged with CIMA and relocated to Milwaukee, Paula started a new adventure with Planet Underground in Manteno, Illinois.

Paula retired in 2016 where she embarked on a new adventure of being a snowbird in Florida with her husband Tom Krischunas. She very much enjoyed the warm sunshine on her face and spending time with her neighbors and friends like Eileen Kelly at her "happy place." Through her work and her social life, she loved to plan and organize parties. She had a knack for bringing people together, even while she fought for her life as the disease progressed.

Paula is survived by her husband of 25 years, Tom Krischunas, sister Crissey (Pete) MacLean, daughter Keri Goff and stepchildren Tina (Matt) Blievernicht and Jon (Therese) Krischunas. She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren, Morgan Goff, Mikayla and Luke Blievernicht, Elena Krischunas, Corina Gonzalez and Isabella Krischunas. She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Dorothy Moratz and her son, Brian Miller.

Family will welcome all that knew her to a celebration of her life at Scrementi's Restaurant in Steger, Illinois on September 10, 2023 between the hours of 12pm - 3:30pm.
