Paula Gail West Pace
Booneville – Paula Gail Pace, 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her residence in Booneville, MS. She was born on December 9, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri to Dora Faye Shelby Cupp and the late George Edward West.
Paula grew up in a large family in Missouri and moved to Mississippi with her family at a young age. She married the love of her life, Linden “Harry” Pace and they shared 36 special years together. They did everything together, traveled and really enjoyed playing Bingo together. She was blessed by God with a wonderful husband, caring children and many grandchildren whom she cherished. She worked for many years as a Seamstress to help raise and support her family.
Paula was a dedicated mom and grandmother who was always there for her family. One of her favorite things to do was to simply spend precious time with her family. Besides her family, some of her closest friends were Bob Hill, Penny Hill, and Liz Sanderson. She treasured every day with her friends and family and they always felt loved and blessed when they were around her.
Although her family knows that she is at peace, they will miss her until they meet again someday. The memories made with her will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her children, Paula Michelle Pace, Booneville, Timothy Ray Pace, Iuka, and Stevie Lynn Pace, Booneville; mother, Dora Shelby Cupp; grandchildren, Brittney Gail Pace, Booneville, Faith Lashelle Chills, Fulton, Savanna Danielle Sheppard, Booneville, Suzanna Paige Edge, Booneville, Brandon Maxwell Pace, Tupelo; great-grandchildren, Jaxxson Lynn Pace, Michigan, Soffia Rose-Marie Pace, Michigan, Linden Isaiah Jones, Booneville, Maylee Denise Hargett, Booneville, Caden Lee Ratliff, Fulton, Levi Ray Edge, Booneville; sister, Doris Faye Smith, Dorsey; and her brother, Carl Ray West, St Louis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Linden Ray “Harry” Pace and her brother, Edward Lee West.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS with Bro. Terry Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park, Amory, Mississippi with Pallbearers being Charles Ray Floyd, Kentrell Rashawn Chills, Brittney Gail Pace Robert Glen Weaver, Chris Smith and Mark Pace. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the service hour at 11:00 am.
