Paula S. Pipinich
Sept. 17, 1963 - July 28, 2023
MARYSVILLE - Paula S. Pipinich passed away on July 28, 2023, at St. Peter's Hospital following a sudden battle with pneumonia. Paula was born in Ennis, Montana, on September 17, 1963. She grew up with her brother, Mike Fairclough, and many of their childhood years were spent in Marysville. Paula graduated from Capital High School in 1981.
In September 1983, Paula and Durk Pipinich were married in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. They spent 10 years between Phoenix and Las Vegas, going where Durk's employment took them.
They moved back to Montana in 1993 and had been living in Marysville since 2016. Paula worked for many years at Wal-Mart in both Arizona and Montana. She enjoyed working and was a Supervisor when she was forced to stop working for health reasons.
Paula's world became smaller as her battle with health issues continued, but she was very content in her home with Durk always by her side and taking care of her dear kitty, Fuzza. Paula cleaned house like no other, she loved to read, she had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed visiting and getting in a few good laughs.
The family cabin at the Smith River was one of Paula's most favorite places. She and Durk had recently spent several nights there enjoying time with family and friends.
Paula was preceded in death by her in-laws, Dolores and Terry Pipinich, who loved Paula dearly. It brings Durk great comfort to know that Paula is now with his parents, flying with the angels, free of the pain that held her back during her time on this earth.
A gathering to celebrate Paula will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, Durk would like to thank everyone for the love and support extended to him since Paula's passing.
